Chapter Awards

The Long Beach Chapter of ASSP proudly recognizes individuals who exemplify excellence, leadership, and commitment to the occupational safety and health (OSH) profession. Our annual Chapter Awards honor professionals who make a meaningful impact—whether through outstanding workplace safety performance, dedicated service to ASSP, or leadership that advances the profession and protects workers.

Nomination Period

Nominations are open annually from February 1 through April 15.
We encourage members, colleagues, supervisors, and peers to take this opportunity to recognize safety professionals whose contributions deserve acknowledgment.

All nominations are reviewed by the Chapter Awards Committee using established criteria aligned with ASSP values and professional standards.

Awards Celebration

Award recipients will be formally recognized at the Long Beach ASSP Chapter Awards Celebration in May. This event provides an opportunity for our chapter to come together, celebrate excellence in safety, and acknowledge the achievements of professionals who elevate our industry and our community.

Recipients will be notified in advance of the awards celebration and invited to attend the event.
