The Joint Technical Symposium (JTS), Southern California’s largest annual professional development conference for safety, health, and industrial hygiene professionals, has announced that two leaders from the Long Beach Chapter of ASSP have been selected to present at this year’s event: Dr. Chris Rainwater and Andrew Sommer.
Each year, dozens of professionals submit proposals to share their expertise. The JTS planning committee carefully evaluates every submission and selects those presentations that will bring the greatest insight, relevance, and value to attendees. Being chosen is a recognition of both professional excellence and the ability to shape meaningful conversations in the safety and health community.
This year’s JTS will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Carson Event Center. Early indications show that the 2025 symposium will be one of the largest in its history, drawing participants from across the region for a day of knowledge-sharing, networking, and advancement of the profession.
