Each year, more than 4 million workers suffer from serious job-related injuries or illnesses, and more than 4,000 Americans die from work-related incidents. These incidents don’t just hurt workers and their families, they hurt businesses as well. Nonetheless, accidents are preventable.
Join subject expert, Dick Monod, a former Cal/OSHA compliance and enforcement investigator, as he shares resources and recommendations to implement a safety and health program or improve an existing one.
Every person, business and organization of any size that is committed to the safety of workers, customers and the public is encouraged to participate in this free and informative event.
There is no cost to attend the Safe + Sound session. However, individuals looking to earn (0.3) Continuing Education Units (CEUs), may do so by paying a $25 fee to obtain a certificate of attendance.
