Save the date:  April 3, 2019

The 14th Annual CSUN EOH Technical Symposium, to be held on April 3, 2019, will explore the topic of storing and transporting hazardous materials and hazardous waste, including nuclear waste, in densely populated settings.  In the Los Angeles area alone, there are myriad examples of facilities that store hazardous materials for industrial use, that produce and/or store hazardous waste or that are listed Superfund hazardous waste cleanup sites.  Hazardous materials are regularly transported to and from these sites.  Additionally, nationwide, there are numerous nuclear power plants storing nuclear waste on site.  Ultimately, this waste must be transported to permanent storage facilities in the safest possible manner.  The 14th Annual CSUN EOH Technical Symposium offers discussion by experts of many safety concerns surrounding transportation and storage of hazardous materials and hazardous waste in densely populated areas, including in-depth analysis of safety challenges posed by several local facilities.  Please come and join your fellow EOH professionals, as this one-day event will provide rare insight you will not want to miss!  The 14th Annual CSUN EOH Technical Symposium program will offer 8 hours of Continuing Education Credits for CIH, CSP, REHS, and other certifications.
